Macrame star tutorial christmas ornament step by step 366

A RINGLESS macrame star, ohhh the joy of not having to use up those precious wooden rings! I'm so happy to share this tutorial with you guys, these adorable shooting stars can be used as a Christmas ornament for your tree, hung on the wall alone to add a little festive cheer, a size smaller could be a key chain, or my personal favourite, several hung on a dowel to make a whimsical wallhanging! There are so many possibilities with this one ..... Please note that I made my stars how I like them, if this does not suit you you can always experiment with different cord lengths, more square knots, fewer square knots etc. to create the size or shape of your liking. If the video goes too fast, you can always slow it down by tapping the 3 little dots to adjust the playback speed. If you are new to macrame, or need extra help with the basic knots, please watch this video before beginning this project: https://youtu.be/FbH5lJqBWTw MESUREMENTS: LENGTH: 16 inches/40cm (not including hanger) or 21inches with hanger. WIDTH: 5.25inches/14.5cm Here is what I used: - 4mm single ply cord cut to the following lengths: - 1 x 34inches/86cm - 14 x 30inches/76cm As always my cord is from Ganxxet, my favourite fibre suppliers.
